The university's Young Environmentalists Club has organized a panel for Friday, 17 April 2009 entitled "Mount Ida" at 13.00 in the Municipality Social Centre. Speakers will talk about the bio-diversity, eco-tourism and agricultural aspects of Mount Ida in circumstances where it is important to protect the unspoilt aspects of the Mount Ida forest range in the face of exploitation for industrial development.
