New international students can register with the university at the
Students Affairs Department (Ogrenci Isleri) at the Terzioglu Campus, Rectorate
Building, 17020, Canakkale. There will be a separate desk for international
students only and international students can register from that desk.
DOCUMENTS NEEDED
You are required to provide the following documents when you register for the
first time at COMU

Your
Letter of Acceptance from COMU

Original
YÖS Entrance Exam Card or equivalent

Student
Visa/Residence Permit: Remember that COMU will not register international
students who do not have a student visa. Student visas must be obtained before
entering Turkey. For more infromation please click here

Attested/notarized copy of high school
diploma in English or in Turkish (An Equivalence Letter certifying that your
diploma is equivalent to a Turkish High School Diploma will be required during
registration. It can be obtained from Ministry
of Education of Turkey or Turkish Embassies
in your country)

24 Photos ( Size : 4,5 X
6 cm). Without any head scarf, hat, dark colour glasses
or beard.

Receipt
for payment of one semester tuition fee. For more

The students should
register in person, postal registration is not accepted.

Photocopies or of the
documents or unapproved copies are not accepted.

The registration can not
be completed if any document is missing.

register on the dates shown above.
STUDENT CERTIFICATE
After you have paid your fees and are registered with the university, you can
get a Student Certificate. You will need this Certificate to get your residence
permit. Residence permits are required by law and generally should be applied
for within one month of entering Turkey. For more information about the

STUDENT ID CARD
After registering and paying tuition fee, you will be issued a Student
identification card. This ID Card is required to enter the campus and to use any facility on
the campus, such as the library, computer rooms, sports
facilities.
You must also show your Student ID card to take advantage of the many student
discounts available at cinemas, buses, trains and on certain days, on Turkish
Airlines and in many shops around the city.
ACADEMIC REGISTRATION
Newly admitted students can register for courses only after all required
documents have been submitted to the Registrar's Office and the semesters
tuition has been paid.
Students are assigned a DEPARTMENTAL ADVISOR who helps preparing student
programs and class schedules.
